About Ancient Lima: We will begin our Lima City Tour with a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, a pre-inca pyramid shape temple a great ceremonial and archeological center built in the IV century and considered to be a “sacred people” bye the Incas. Colonial Lima: we’ll visit the historical center of Lima where you’d be able to appreciate more than 50 colonial’s monuments and buildings. Going through el Paseo de la República (main distinctive road) to La Plaza San Martin, the main plaza, the Palace Government, the Archbishop´s Palace, the Basilica Catedral, and among some others.
We’ll visit the Center Reserve Bank Museum* where you’d be able to appreciate a “Collection Peruvian Treasure”, a selective exposition of golden objects, ceramics and textiles from diverse pre-columbine cultures, in addition you’d appreciate the San Francisco’s museum which constitute the biggest colonial religious of America’s art you’d get to see. Highlights the underground crypts known as “Catacombs”.
Get to know the most traditional residential zones of Lima, San Isidro’s Olivar, Miraflores and Larcomar (Modern shopping mall at the edge of a cliff)
*The Center Reserve Bank Museum is closed to the public on Saturdays and Sunday Afternoon as well as all day Monday. *
