LLACHON HOMESTAY (VIA LAKE) 2D/1N

07:00 We start our journey toward Puno’s port to the floating island of Uros. There we’ll get to know their customs, traditions, how they are able to live through our modern living, they will tell us how they intertwine the totora (an aquatic plant that grows inside the lake) in order to keep their islands afloat.
09:00 We’ll start off going toward the peninsula of Capachica, between Llachon Homestay.
11:00 Arrival to Llachon, The community will receive us to later lodging us to their homes, at midday we’ll have and share lunch.
14:00 We’ll get to know the settler’s main activities such as agriculture, fishing and knitting, afterwards we’ll get to visit the Crafting Center in town, then we’ll get to ascend to Apu Tutelar (a mountain) of the peninsula which is 4200 meters on sea level.
The highest peninsula’s mountain is Auki Carus a mystical and millennial place with its archeological remains pre incas which allows people to recharge mystical energy. Then to wait the rising of the son from the vast Titicaca’s lake.
20:00 We’ll have and share lunch with the community.
08:00 We’ll get to visit textile workshops and we’ll have instructions on how to maneuver kayaks to later go to the lake rowing for at least 3 hours, rowing we could actually go to Taquile or Amantaní, the tourists will decide.
13:00 Lunch at Taquiles or Amantani.
14:00 We’ll return to Puno either by Kayaks or taking the motor boat until getting to Llachon (the boat will be next to the kayaks at all times).
16:00 We’ll arrive to Puno’s port to have everyone get to their destined hotels.
